Dear Will
I received your telegram in
regard to the Mules Waggon & Harness and
yesterday went to Auburn to see them, as I
had never seen them before and I determined
to accept your offer. The result is the es-
tablishment is now safely housed here
having come to day by the cars. I think
the mules will be glad of the change for
I will do, as you would had ^you^ been able to
superintend them personally — that is feed
them. One of them looks as if he had been
sadly treated in this respect. I mention
this so that if you have other animals under
the same supervision you may see to it. These
I know have been abused.
I will send a Draft to your Banking
House at Auburn tomorrow for $300. —
and when we get located for the summer
on the Lake Shore I hope you will come and
see them.
I have watched with painful solicitude
the result of the terrible attack upon your
Father
Birth: 1801-05-16 Death: 1872-10-10
and Fred
Birth: 1830-07-08 Death: 1915-04-25
. I went to Auburn on the

next train after Mrs Worden
Birth: 1803-11-01 Death: 1875-10-03
left intending
if she desired it to go with her to Washington
I trust Fred will recover and I believe he
will. It is fearful to think what they
have suffered. It is gratifying to see how
rapidly your Father is improving. I wish
it were so with poor Fred
Remember me please to all
Yours very Truly
H O. Chesebro
I send the Draft to Auburn as I
inferred & was so informed by Day
Birth: 1817-02-23 Death: 1878-02-28
you
would prefer that, to sending it to Washington.
