Dear Will
I received your telegram in
regard to the Mules Waggon & Harness and
yesterday went to Auburn to see them, as I
had never seen them before and I determined
to accept your offer. The result is the es-
tablishment is now safely housed here
having come to day by the cars. I think
the mules will be glad of the change for
I will do, as you would had ^you^ been able to
superintend them personally — that is feed
them. One of them looks as if he had been
sadly treated in this respect. I mention
this so that if you have other animals under
the same supervision you may see to it. These
I know have been abused.
I will send a Draft to your Banking
House at Auburn tomorrow for $300. —
and when we get located for the summer
on the Lake Shore I hope you will come and
see them.
