Florida March 23rd 66
My Dear Henry
Your letter of the 16th
inst –was received in due course
of mail,
I am far from ^desiring to^ obstructing do –
mestic affairs at Florida, or
your attention, From what
you write. I can readily see
that your mind and hands
are full and I have no wish
to add to your burthens, rather
would I lighten it, and yet
I hope I may be pardoned
for saying, that in my esti-
mation there are special
reasons why the matter
should be speedily adjusted

I have had a conversation
with Mr Grier
Birth: 1802-09-27 Death: 1878-12-20
to day, in
which we agreed as to what
it might be best to do and
at whose suggestion I have
written you,
I presume that when the
sale of the Brick House
is consummated (about
1st April) that more there
will be said about, stables
and garden,
Affectionately your
Brother
Geo. W. Seward
