My dear Gus,
I have your letter of
Monday. We are glad to know that
you are comfortably located, though
disappointed to find you sent to
Boston instead of New York.
We shall hope to see you here some
Sunday next month.
Anna
Birth: 1834-03-29 Death: 1919-05-02
was bitten by the squirrel
a few days ago, and her hand is
still much inflamed and very
painful, so as to confine her to
her room. The Surgeon General
Birth: 1817-07-21 Death: 1883-04-05
attends her and he thinks it is
gradually improving.
Aunty Worden
Birth: 1803-11-01 Death: 1875-10-03
remains with us.
Miss Martin
Birth: 1846-11-29 Death: 1870-03-29
has come and is
making us a visit. Mr. Wharton
Birth: 1808-02-07 Death: 1868-09-09
has gone home.
Cold weather again & sleighing
for a day or two.
Affectionately yours
F. W. S.
