Merciful Father we beseech
thee to soften this affliction
to the tender heart of our
precious child—May she
learn to go to thee for
strength and consolation
in all her troubles—Give
her love, patience and
humility to walk in her
appointed path without
murmuring and finally
may she attain that
peace which passeth
all understanding—We
ask in the name of thy
son our saviour—A
mother prays for blessings
on her child—Thou
alone canst comprehend the
depth of a Mothers love—
