Biography
Grover and Gunn were merchants who went insolvent, and their creditors sued them for an intention to defraud them. WHS was involved in the case of Grover & Gunn for several years. It is referenced in letters from 1826 to 1833, and it seems to have been a complicated case. Salmon Grover was a Livingston county representative in the New York Assembly in 1834. Mentioned in a letter from WHS to LMW in January of 1834.
