Jonathan Cass was the first tavern keeper of Westfield, NY, and a merchant. He married Sophia Hall in Massachusetts where she was born on December 3, 1791. She died December 13, 1872 in Westfield, Chautauqua, NY, at 81 years of age. Cass made a will in Westfield, Chautauqua, NY, 25 Oct 1841.
