Biography
Alexander Hamilton Bullock was a Harvard graduate and Worcester attorney. He was a newspaper editor in the 1840's before serving in the Massachusetts State Senate. He served as Governor of Massachusetts from 1866-1868. He also served as Mayor of Worcester and Speaker of the State House. Bullock married Elvira Hazard Bullock, with whom he had a son, Augustus George Bullock.
