Biography
Dr. James McNaughton graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 1816, immigrated to Quebec in 1817, thereafter moving permenantly to the US. In 1840 he was elected to the chair in the theory and practice of medicine at Albany Medical College. Mentioned in 18410306FMS_WHS as having treated Augustus Seward when he was sick.
