Biography

American Actor, theatrical manager, and playwright who was raised in England. Returned to America in the 1840s and carried out successful career in theater and theater management until his death in 1888. Wallack is mentioned in Fanny Seward's 1862-1863 diary where he performs a role in "Bosom Friends" in his father's "new theater" in New York City.
