Biography
Favored daughter of English Revolutionary leader Oliver Cromwell. In 1646, she married John Claypole of Northborough, Northhamptonshire. Supposedly interceded on behalf of political dissidents to her father. Fanny Seward references a picture of Elizabeth and her father purchased in a set of pictures by Fred and Anna Seward in her 1862-1863 diary.
