I have this moment received a letter
from Mr Fuller
in which he states you are engaged
in debate on the U.S. Bank question.
He wishes I could hear it. And thinks
not withstanding what malignant par-
tisans may say it does honor to the head
and the heart of the speaker - and that it
will be published. I shall be pleased to
see it.
My Dear H. to a father who above
all things values the standing and reputa-
tion of his children To reflect on your
age and situation and that you are
able to bring yourself in to the notice
of men of as sound minds as the Hon. P
C. Fuller most naturally warms his heart
