My Dear Henry
Agreeable to my engagement
when you left to write you relative to the health
of your beloved Mother
conveyance to state that by great and pressing
precautions & admonitions of former sickness
& debility she came to the most happy conclu-
sion, that let what would happen she would
favour herself — While she acted on this principle
she manifestly gained strength plus her appetite
very fast. But her whole desire is to be at the
head of whatever business is going on in her
department, and I very much that before the
the vault is completed and we prepared to start
to Albany by fatiague and overexertion she will
bring on a relaps — This her friends will all try
to prevent if possible — I took cold & had a sick
turn after you left Please speak to Mr Stevens
respecting the wood suite — Nothing new
Best with affectionate love to dear Francis
all the family
Remain most truly & sincerely
Yours Saml S Seward
