My dearest Henry
I have this moment received your
letter of Wednesday – I had heard you were in Utica
and expected you in the cars this morning but
am glad on your own account that you did not
come – I should not have been able to have returned
with you tomorrow – Dear Willie
again – I sent for a Dr
it will not be safe to take him out while the
weather is so unfavourable and his eye so much
inflamed – I shall come on Saturday if possible
but do not be uneasy if I do not – I have
perfect confidence in Augustus'

write again – People here are getting very uneasy in
