Hopkinton June 1842
My dear Uncle,
I received your kind letter on
Tuesday morning last and was very glad to
hear from home once more. I had a letter
from aunty

about a week ago together with
one from ma

I have answered them both
I have not been to Boston yet, am going
Saturday with Mr. Parmely

and shall spend
Sunday and the fourth of July. I went a
strawberrying on friday we had two
wagons trimed with birch and one drawn
by two horses [ tantum ]

ripe. I have taken up Geography and have now
