My dearest William Henry
Gen Post stated to me when coming
out of Church this afternoon that he intended
starting west tomorrow morning and thought
he should call on you. Allways gratified
with an opportunity of drawing a line from
he will be the bearer of this. On friday
Evening last I wrote you by Mail from New-
burgh stating that I had deposited in that
Bank $5442 your Drft. of $1700 and
expected the balance and surplus to be immediately
drawn for to meet the balance of the Assignment
of the Mortgag to be made to me mention in
a former letter to me from Mr Morgan of
$4500—On this point I only ask whether it
is still in [ Negosiation ] or dropt.
The Warner & Willard Bond & Mortgage
was all cancelled, Certificate of Salles forborn
a statement and balance forward to Messers
Beach & Morgan for them from Goshen by
Mail yesterday—If any thing has broken
off Morgans Arangement please let me
know it at your Earliest convenience
If not forward the Papers as soon as
convenient—Julia is affected in every
joint with Rheumatism she cant get on
her Cloths and scarcely walk the room
Our friend Gen Post will inform you
of the state of Affairs in Florida. Affection
to all—When will Again be in Orange
I am in hopes you will draw Wood & Wood
through the fire they kindled for themselves
