My very dear Sister,
Frances wrote to me by mail and tele-
graph that you are on your way to New York, but gave
me no information how or where you would receive a
letter. Yesterday she wrote in reply to my inquiries that
you were at Flushing.
I am very sorry you did not bring Clarence
Birth: 1828-10-07 Death: 1897-07-24

with you. You ought to have done so.
I shall be detained here eight or ten days,
When at liberty to home I will find you and
see whether I can provide you my aid.
I do not venture to send you much money.
For I do not absolutely know your Post Office — But
I send what may seem a . If you want any thing
for yourself or for Frances
Birth: 1826-12-12 Death: 1909-08-24
, more or less, buy or
borrow it, and I will pay when I reach Flushing.
Do not deny yourself any thing which would add to
your comfort or appearance.
There is nothing new here - or if there is, it is
not known to me. I am at work ten hours a day, as
lively here as at home.
Please write and let me know how Frances is
address me as above. Ever your affectionate brother
Mrs. Lazette Maria Worden.
