My Dear Henry
I suppose that you are re-
cieving abundance of congratulatory letters
now a days, allow us to present ours
at your reelection against and over
the meanest opposition which any
man might wish to encounter, I mean
the Know Nothing secret and unman-
ly conclave, who stabs like the assas-
sin in the dark, Is it not a comment
upon our Mothers
Birth: 1828 Death: 1905
teaching against
masonry.
I have received a letter from a
Brother
Birth: 1830-03-14 Death: 1902-06-10
of my wife
Birth: 1824-02-11 Death: 1895
, Herman L Humphrey who has removed to
Hudson St Croix Co, Wis, and opened
an Attorneys Office, He wishes here
to request you to send him documents
for distribution in that county, He
says that Daniel S Dickenson
Birth: 1800-09-11 Death: 1866-04-12
is there
regarded as an Anti Nebraska Demo-
crat and he wishes to enlighten them
there on that point,
I presume you have a great man-
y calls upon your time and resources
for supplying such demands but I
believe I can assure you that a small
proportion of your attention will be
appreciated by him and his Brother
in Law Frederick C Gridley
Birth: 1820-02
, You will excuse me for taking up
thus much of your time and you will
do them a favor by complying with their
wishes and I shall receive it as a Kind-
ness done me.
There is nothing new here.
Affectionately Your Brother
Geo. W. Seward
