My Dear Henry
Under date
of the 20th June and again the 27th of
same month I wrote you making
a certain enquiry as it relates to
your action as Executor of the Es-
tate of Samuel S. Seward
Birth: 1768-12-05 Death: 1849-08-24
and my-
self as an Heir to neither of which
have I received an answer —
You are usually a prompt cor-
respondent and I am at some doubt
as to the cause why I have failed
in hearing from you. I must again
press upon your attention the
subject of my letter of the 20th
of last month and request an
early answer
