Biography

She is listed in the Historical Records of Auburn as "Nancy Bennett" who married Robert Muir. But in the 1850 Ancestry census, Robert's wife is "Amantha", and in the 1855 census, Robert's wife is listed as "Nancy". But all their kids are exactly the same in both lists... you can check out each census here:

I'm inclined to think that Nancy went by her middle name, Amantha. Nevertheless, I'm strongly inclined to believe that Nancy and Amantha are the same person.
She married Robert in 1822. Auburn local. Her husband was village president of Auburn in 1837.
