My dear Sister,
I have been too unwell to write
the two last days – Freddy
Tuesday – he has commenced an answer –
I have written to Henry
thinks it advisable for me to go to Albany
that I will be ready by the 1st of February
will you be ready then – I have felt so unwell
for a few days past that I have felt almost
discouraged about undertaking the journey
but am in hopes to feel better – When
shall we look for you out – Fred insists
upon expecting you Saturday as he says
that is a fortnight – I am sorry to hear
you have been so unwell I hope it was
not in consequence of your ride home
Pa
whether he goes at all – he is I believe now
waiting for Gerry Sacket
more about Cornelia’s
letter from Gusey
ted me I have no dress made yet she
promises to come next week – it is so late now
I can get no one else – I hear nothing new – a
number of ladies have called upon you since you left –
I will write again in Freds letter
Your own sister Frances
