Auburn April 21st 1844
Dear Brother,
Mother
though not well enough to write to you. The weather has been
very pleasant here for the last week and many of the flowers
are out. I have been to Aunt Clara's
to give her love to you and to tell you that she was going
to move up here next Wednesday and bring the two Pollys
Talking about two animals, a cat and cow.,
as Willie
Albany last Monday. We have a vacation now for two weeks.
A good many boys here have inquired about you and asked
if you were not coming back soon. Mr McClallen
early this morning and caught several brook trout two of
which he sent to mother. Willie says I must tell you that
he is going to set up a recess as soon as he gets candy enough.
Clarence
she received your letter yesterday. I think some of going to
Canandaigua this vacation. Aunty's
