Auburn November 11th,
My dear Augustus,
I wish you
to let me know the price
of an Indian Poney where
you are and how much
it will cost to bring one
up here. Pa
it is reasonable you may get
one and I will pay you
all my money towards the
price. I would like to have
you bring it up when you

come home if it would
not be too much trouble.
I should like to know when
you expect to return home
I hope you will come home
in the Spring I dont expect
you much before that time
I hope you will get me
a nice poney, one that
is free from ticks, if that
is possible. Fanny
down on the stones the other
day and Bruno came and
