Auburn April 11th
Dear Frances it is a pleasent day [ hear ]

to day we have had a few pleasent days Abbey
told me that the crocus are [ beging ]

they have a sick child
want Abbey I received your letter written the 6 or the 9
in just three days from the time it was written
I was very glad to hear from you that you wer[ e ]
Reason: all well
also that Augustus
look to the time when you will all be back again
thursday is the midle of April it will soon be
the first of May I dont think we had better
come down this spring you are coming home so
soon if we had come the first of the month
as I thought we should we should had some
time it may be so that Augustus can come home
for a short time this summer that he cannot
know any thing at presen I feel as though he was
almost with us when we can get a letter so soon
from him I am thankful that he is out of the

yet we have got Washington
they live on the corner of North street or at least
Chapel street Denis
ready for seeds he has been taking the
