My Dear Sister
We are making our pre-
parations for a visit to Candor but
it seems proper for us to consult with
you as to our proposed visit with you.
We have not yet formed any plan
farther than that Julia

on Wednesday of next week
and remain there untill I shall join
her sometime in the first half ^of the next week^
after go on to Auburn leaving the
children with their GrandFathers
family. I may, ^but^ have not decided yet
whether I should accompany her
when she leaves home.
We are aware that your time
is necessarily very much occupied
by visitors and preparations for
going to Washington, please do not
let us interfere with your ar-
rangements. A good family visit
with yourself and family is all
that we desire and is the object
of this letter.
Our family have nearly regained
their wanted health, and if the
present clear and favorable weather
should continue through their
jaunt we are in hopes of it doing
them much good, it is rather
late but yet we are in hopes
that we have not yet seen all
the good weather.
