Auburn, NY. Sept 1867
My dear Fred
I have written Mr. Derby
To send Mothers
Syracuse and then here by R.R. it usually
takes ten days or two weeks to get through the
Custom House and it will probably take another
week from N.Y. New. I will let Father
of the time of the arrival. Will you
please say to father that on the 8 9 10 & 11
of Oct there is to be a general meeting of our
Board of Express Trustees from all parts of the
Country and I have invited three or four
of them to stop with me I mention it
thinking that if he was coming here that
he might prefer to come earlier or defer
a few days rather than to meet them
Frances Chesebro
