Thursday March 24th
My dear Gus,
I know you would
like to see a line if no
more in Mother's own hand–
I am improving slowly
but cannot boast much
strength yet– The unfavourable
weather keeps me a prisoner–
Mr Hawley
since Mr Schoolcraft
left– Caroline does not
reach home yet– we are
looking for her– Frances
passed through yesterday
you must miss her–
Father does not say when
Page

he comes home– Aunty
has been quite ill with a cold–
Fred
yet– Aunt Clara
is well– she comes up
almost every day– wishes
much to see you– Willie
& Fanny
All send love–
God bless you–
your
Mother
