You have heard of the death of
James Weed
to Mrs Weed
Schoolcraft
Mr Weed
Our cousins are all gone and we are alone to day —
Frances
come home — I expect another cousin
Romulus next week but doubt her efficiency
in amusing Grandpa
quite agreeable but we could not persuade
him to stay — he left us yesterday —
The weather is pleasantly warm & the garden
blooming —roses of all colors and other flowers
in abundance while the air is perfumed
with the syringa — I am so sorry you
and Fred
from Fred — he spent Sunday at Col Webbs
visiting places of interest in that vicinity —
