dear Mother,
Your letter
with the kind invitations
from yourself and Anna
Birth: 1834-03-29 Death: 1919-05-02
, was
received through Aunty
Birth: 1803-11-01 Death: 1875-10-03
Saturday
morning. Will would like to
have me go to Washington
before Lent, if agreeable to
Anna, I will go in February.
Will goes to Chautauque, the first
of the month, and I will go as
soon as he returns, if Aunty can
come and stay with him. Frances
Birth: 1826-12-12 Death: 1909-08-24

is going to New York, and wants
Aunty to stay with Frank
Birth: 1854-02-13 Death: 1931-05-23
, so I
will have to go either before or after
she goes, Aunty has written to
Frances, and as soon as she
hears from her, I will decide and
let you know. Do you think

I will need to get any-more
dresses, I have only one Party-dress,
my white one, I have one Winter silk,
and two Summer silks, can I wear
the Summer silks there, I think you
will remember what they are, if
not perhaps Fanny
Birth: 1844-12-09 Death: 1866-10-29
can tell you.
I know nothing about what is
suitable to wear, anywhres but in
Auburn, so I am obliged to trouble
you. Mrs Bostwick
Birth: 1832-04-27 Death: 1903-12-20
returned
from New York Friday evening, little
Charlie

is no better, all of the
Drs gave different opinions, of course
but not one of them said he would
ever recover the use of his leg.
It is so hard to think that the
dear little boy must always
be lame. Mother
Birth: 1812-03-30 Death: 1893-11-13
and Libbie
Birth: 1834-03-20 Death: 1892-02-25Certainty: Probable

have both had very bad colds
for a long time, Mother has not
been able to go out in three or
four weeks. I have read them

most of the Report of the
Sanitary Commission, in the
Herald, I was very much
interested in it. Every body
seems to think that there is to
to be a great forward movement,
very soon, don't you dread it?
I do very much. I am very
sorry that Easter is so late, I
would like so much to go to
Washington with you. Will
has been very well, indeed, this
winter, has not had the least
shadow, of a sore throat, I
wish you could see him, while
he is so well, I hope he keeps
well until you return. Love
to Fanny, I will write to her very
soon, Will sends love,
Your aff. daughter,
Jenny.

Tuesday morning, Aunty has just
sent me word, that she has had
a letter from Frances, and she
thinks from what she says, that
Frances is going to Washington next
month, and will take Frank with
her. I will go the second week in
February.
Jenny.
